One percent of any profit from my art will go to supporting Live Ocean in Aotearoa New Zealand. I believe if we all contributed a small fraction of our income to environmental focused organisations like Live Ocean it might make a start to slowing, or even one day, reversing the damage we have done to the planet and the species who live here.

Founded by Peter Burling and Blair Tuke, Live Ocean’s mission is to “amplify and accelerate positive ocean action”. Aotearoa New Zealand has a special role to play as guardians of one the of the largest and most significant ocean spaces on the planet. Live Ocean is acting with urgency to support local ocean science, innovators and communicators who are leaders in their fields and is at the forefront of the fight to save our oceans.

“The damage humanity is inflicting on the planet’s oceans is there for all to see. On our current course the environment as we know it will not exist for the generations after us.”

Aotearoa New Zealand could be the team of 5,000,000 that starts fixing this planet in a meaningful way. Imagine what could be achieved if every company and every person gave one percent for the world?
